I am thankful for the women at River Valley.

I am thankful for those moments that God gives us that encourage us in what we are doing. Those moments that show us that we are doing the right thing.

Today I am thankful that Silas likes to pray and he likes to pray for others. Randomly he will just pray for some one because he likes them.

I love the freshly fallen snow. Especially when you don't know it's going to snow and you wake up to the newness. For me Snow is such a reminder of what God does for us. He takes away the ugly and replaces it with newness, freshness, and pureness over and over again. Because His love never runs out.
I also love Spring, the newness, the growth, the fresh smells of the flowers blooming. It is also a reflection of what God does for us. After He cleanses us we have the chance to bloom and grow in Him.

Messages from God

This morning I woke up to a text with a scripture in it.

Psalm 37:7
Be still before the LORD
and wait patiently for him

Ever wonder why someone sends you a scripture, I did so I ask. She respond and said I don't know I read it and prayed about it and your name came to mind.

I am so thankful that I have people in my life that seek after the Lord. People who seek out why he sends them in certain directions and who they need to share it with. I am thankful that I have a someone who will share with me what she feels lead to.

I am not a very patient person. When I pray I want an answer 20 minutes ago, lol. No I'm not that bad. Sometimes though I pray and expect an immediate response from him. Hmmm, maybe just maybe I should wait patiently.

friends

I am so thankful for my friends Sarah and Kathy. They are like a breath of fresh air. Last night I was able to spend just 30 minutes with Kathy and we went to the grocery, lol. But on the way home I just felt so refreshed, I needed that 30 minutes.

They each bring so many things to my life.
Sarah is the one that helps me with come backs. She also helps me sort out situations and helps me to see that I am okay. Not everything is my fault. She also shows me that it's okay to have feels and thoughts and it's okay to share them because I am not stupid.
Kathy teaches me so much. I love to learn from her interaction with her kids. They have such a dynamic relationship. I hope that when my kids are teenagers. I can have a relationship like she does with her kids. I love that we can just sit and talk for hours about everything.

I am thankful for my other friends as well. But today I wanted to focus on these two.
